15 DAYS
BIKING
| There are 2 versions of this trip. For younger students, the CC trip is van-supported (students do not carry panniers) and there are 3 leaders. For older students the MVC trip is like our other regular trips, with 2 leaders per group and students carrying their own gear. |

Sandwich to Martha's Vineyard
You'll cycle first past cranberry bogs and through sun-drenched seaside villages, sampling delicious ice cream cones and sticky, wonderful saltwater taffy. You'll ferry to the island of Martha's Vineyard for swimming, sunning and beachcombing along miles of sandy beaches. You'll sit on a pile of lobster traps in a tiny fishing village of docks and pilings and seagulls and fishing shanties hung with colorful buoys . The group will explore inlets and beaches, and feed bread to swooping seagulls on the ferry ride to Nantucket.
Exploring Nantucket
Your group will stay in a hostel right on the ocean beach! You'll play on endless sand beaches, build sandcastles, and explore the picturesque old whaling port of Nantucket town. You'll picnic under lighthouses and on top of cliffs before ferrying again to Hyannis.
Cycling up the Cape
Along the way up the Cape to Truro, your group will bike into the National Seashore for ocean swimming along dazzling beaches beneath towering sand dunes. You'll go on an amazing whale watching expedition to watch giant gentle whales breach and blow.
Seeing Boston
You'll ferry to Boston for a day of sightseeing (and eating!) along the Freedom Trail. Your group will enjoy a special program at the Boston Aquarium, where you'll see the sea lion show and get a behind the scenes tour from the aquarium staff.
| This trip includes rental equipment. The equipment rental package consists of items similar to those in our regular equipment package. You will get your rental equipment in Conway.
