16 DAYS

BIKING

There are 2 versions of this trip. The CC trip is van-supported (students do not carry panniers) and there are 3 leaders. The MVC trip is like our other regular trips, with 2 leaders per group and students carrying their own gear.
Newport to Nantucket

Cape Cod Adventures begin with a spectacular day of cycling around the Newport, Rhode Island Mansions. Groups will step back in time as they tour famous mansions like the Breakers and explore the picturesque harbor at Newport. On the Cape, trippers will experience all the beauty that has attacked vacationers for decades, cycling past cranberry bogs and through sun-drenched seaside villages sampling ice cream and sticky sweet saltwater taffy. Groups will ferry to both MarthaÕs Vineyard and Nantucket encountering seagulls and lobsters on the docks of quaint fishing villages. After exploring the old whaling port of Nantucket, your group will stay in a hostel right on the beach!

As your group makes its way around the Cape, expansive dazzling beaches beneath towering sand dunes provide exceptional ocean swimming followed by an evening cookout in a sand pit on the beach. Experience the unique character of Providence town and the majesty of the sea on whale watching expedition. The group will then ferry to Boston for a day of sightseeing on the Freedom Trail and a special behind the scenes tour of the Boston Aquarium

Seeing Boston

The group will then ferry to Boston for a day of sightseeing on the Freedom Trail and a special behind the scenes tour of the Boston Aquarium.
