The first part of your trip will be island hopping among islands in Canada and Washington that are world famous for their natural beauty. You'll ferry from island to island (5 times!) as your group bikes to picturesque coves, sunlit lagoons, and warm beaches.

Oregon - Cycling along the Pacific Ocean

The biking along the Pacific Ocean is absolutely gorgeous! Huge sand dunes on miles of wide sandy beaches, spectacular ocean vistas, beaches dotted with weathered sea stacks (and playful seals!) are part of every day's ride. You'll picnic on grassy meadows atop ocean bluffs, go down into caves to see sea lions, and beachcomb for green jade pebbles and agate.

Your group will train to San Francisco for three exciting days of sightseeing and exploring. You'll marvel at the beauty and grace of the Golden Gate Bridge and ride the cable cars. Your group will walk up steep, steep Lombard Street (well - maybe you'll walk down Lombard Street...), shop and eat (delicious chocolate bars from Ghirardelli, Chinatown's restaurants, and great Mexican munchies). You'll shop at the open air markets at Fisherman's Wharf, and take a ferry to the former island prison of Alcatraz.
