Biking in Spain

Your group will bike first in the beautiful Mino river valley. You'll cycle past terraced vineyards and olive groves, picnic under Roman walls and bike over Roman arched bridges, cycle in impressive, deep river gorges and through fragrant pine forests on your way to the sea. Your group will bike into Portugal for 3 days before continuing up the coast of Spain along picturesque coastal inlets, stopping to swim at sparkling white sand beaches. Your group will explore outdoor markets, perhaps buying tasty empanadas to eat, spend a night in a beautiful walled hilltop town, and explore Santiago de Compostela's narrow medieval streets and magnificent cathedral to which medieval pilgrims journeyed.
